Can this item be retro-fitted into my existing bathroom (already renovated)? I'd like to install it in my bathroom -- total width of wall is 24 inches. A:I don't know why you couldn't use this heated towel rail in your bath. It is 20.5" wide so it should fit. Sylvia

Is the brushed nickle finish painted on? A:No this is not paint. It is actually a brushed stainless steel which looks like a nickle finish.
